[edit] Thanks and Happy New Year

Firstly, let me wish you a very happy New Year and thank you for your help in the Milhist Tag & Assess 2007 drive.

Secondly, although the Tag & Assess 2007 drive is now officially closed, you are very welcome to continue tagging and assessing until 31 January 2008. Any articles you tag and assess during this time will be credited fully to your tagging tally for further award purposes.

Thirdly, if you can find the time, it would be great to have your feedback/comments and participation in the recently-set-up Tag & Assess workshop The idea is to see what lessons we can learn from the 2007 drive to make the 2008 one more efficient and enjoyable.

Thanks again for your help, --ROGER DAVIES talk 10:43, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Holy Trinity Church Cuckfield

I've tagged the above for a speedy delete as its a direct copy of the church's own website history page. Paste (talk) 18:13, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

  • No problem, all the best. Paste (talk) 18:19, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] 1996 in Australian television

Hi, I've removed the speedy deletion tag from 1996 in Australian television as I don't consider it to be a speedy deletion candidate – the article does contain some meaningful content, and although it lacks an introductory paragraph, the context can be inferred from the navbox and title. --Canley (talk) 02:15, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

No problem at all, put them up for AfD if you feel the articles are not suitable. --Canley (talk) 00:17, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Years in Australian Television

Hi. Thanks for keeping an eye out on article quality and helping to keep the place picked up. :) I've deleted a number of the articles on years in Australian t.v. as lacking content when they contained only the template. When they contain more than the template, they do not really fit into any of the speedy criteria. "No context" is for articles that leave you scratching your head, unable to make out what they're talking about. "No content" is for articles consisting only of external links, category tags and "see also" sections, a rephrasing of the title, attempts to correspond with the person or group named by its title, chat-like comments, and/or images. Lists do not violate Wikipedia's policies, per se. See Wikipedia:Lists (stand-alone lists) for more on how & when they are appropriate. If you think that these articles are inappropriate per that guideline, then you have the option to nominate them for deletion by one of the other processes, WP:PROD or WP:AfD. I've added a couple of tags to the specific article you noted, since it lacks sourcing and categories. As to the notability, lists can be contentious and confusing. I find AfD discussion about them somewhat unpredictable and can call to mind quickly the example of List of Indian women, which was deleted, and List of Iranian women, which was not, even though the articles were nearly identical in construction and were nominated within days of each other. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 19:06, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Jamie King (musician)

Sorry about the brief page, man. I have since updated it and hope to continue to add to it in the future. I can understand why it was tagged, but I have removed the bio tag. Ryannus (talk) 16:26, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Teacher and the Rockbots

Please note that this and The Blankies were both created by an SPA/role account which has the name of the company/label which issues these records. --Orange Mike | Talk 16:58, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

No, no, you're not the COI editor! These articles were created by Powerarts, which by no coincidence whatsoever is the name of the company involved. --Orange Mike | Talk 17:01, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Newsweek Wrong?

I think you should cite it with an external link. Signed, Nothing444 22:00, 4 March 2008 (UTC)

According to Yahoo! itself, Newsweek was right: See here. But in any case the threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is not truth but verifiability. —teb728 t c 22:46, 4 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Hello Again

Can you please review this RFC and make comment. There is a campaign to harass me from editing, and I believe my edits are being mis-represented. If you have a moment, can you please have a look.

Thank-you. Wageslave (talk) 00:06, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Baby Batter

Google search has some ghits [1]. Otolemur crassicaudatus (talk) 20:48, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

I am not creator of the article. I only asked you as I found some ghits. Otolemur crassicaudatus (talk) 20:54, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
