Miss Louisiana Teen USA
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Miss Louisiana Teen USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Louisiana in the Miss Teen USA pageant.
Louisiana is ranked fifth overall in terms of the number and value of placements across all twenty-three years of competition [1] which is managed by RPM Productions[1]. Louisiana is one of only seven states to have placed in the semi-finals (or better) on more than ten occasions [2].
Notable former Miss Louisiana Teen USA titleholderss are Ali Landry, Shelley Hennig. Landry went on to win the Miss Louisiana USA and Miss USA titles in 1996 and has built a successful acting career. Hennig won the Miss Teen USA crown in 2004 and is currently an actress on Days of our Lives.
Landry is one of three Louisiana teens to win the Miss Louisiana USA title. One of those was Jennifer Dupont, a Triple Crown winner. Dupont and one other teen competed at Miss America.
