Misión Eurovisión 2007

Misión Eurovisión 2007 is the show in which Spain selected its entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2007, which was held in Helsinki, Finland on May 12, 2007. Misión Eurovisión 2007 was held throughout January and February 2007. The songs and singers was selected separately. The show was organised by TVE.

[edit] Songs

• From all the submitted songs, TVE selected the best few, which went online on their website. From the 15th until the 21st January 2007, anyone who visited the site were able to vote for their favourite songs, with one vote per person per day.
• The top 5 songs from the internet vote went on to the next round, as was 5 songs selected by the internal jury
• From the 24th until the 28th January 2007, people once again was able to vote for their favourites through the internet
• After this second round, the top 3 from the internet vote, plus 2 selected by the internal jury, went on to the final
• In the final, the songs were first of all performed by famous Spanish singers
• After the famous singers had sung the songs, the finalists also performed a part of each of the songs
• The winning song was selected by televoting

• Rafael Artesero wrote the Andorran entries in 2005 and 2006, and took part in Misión Eurovision as a singer as well.
• Antonio Sanchez Ohlsson is the Spanish pseudonym of Thomas G:son.
• Rebeca took part in Misión Eurovision as a singer as well.
• In 2004, Mirela took part in the Spanish pre-selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest with her songs 'Si o No' and 'Conocí el amor'. She was beaten by Maria Isabel, who went on to win the internation competition.

• From all the submitted performers, TVE selected the best few
• The selected performers were competing in 4 semi finals, in which each sang 1 min 30 seconds of a song
• Televoting selected the top 3 performers from each semi final, and the jury selected a further 2, making 20 singers in the final
• The winning singer was selected by televoting
