[edit] Biography

Milojko Kitić was born near Derventa in Bosnia and Hercegovina. When he was 13 years old he moved to Sarajevo. His first songs were written in the ijekavian dialect of the former serbo-croatian language, witch is spoken in Bosnia and Hercegovina. In 1974 he recorded his first Single “O, gitaro” – Oh, guitar. He sang in the most expensive locals in Sarajevo. From 1974 to1980 he played the E-guitar in his band “Princovi” – The Princes. The band got its name from the car “Prince”. During the Balkan civil war he and his family fleed to Belgrade. His nephew died in the war, and that was a great loss for him and his family. In Belgrade he became familiar with the former ekavian dialect, which is now the Serbian language.
