It was at York University where Mike began his radio radio career with an all 1980's request show called "One Step Beyond". The show was named after a song from 80's New Wave Group Madness. Mike was also Sports Director at CHRY-FM York Radio from 1997 to 2001.
Mike is a huge Hamilton Tiger Cats fan, and has a vast collection of music and knowledge of popular music ranging from the 1940's till current. Mike also made a funny Music video on You Tube lip-synching to the popular 70's disco hit Hooked on a Feeling by Swedish Rock group Blue Swede.
