Michael Anthony Munchak (born March 6, 1960, Scranton, Pennsylvania) is a former American Football guard who played for the Houston Oilers. Munchak was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2001. He is currently the Tennessee Titans offensive line coach. The street running in front of Scranton High School is named for him.
Munchak played college football for Penn State University, earning his Bachelor of Science in Business Logistics in 1982.
[edit] Charity Golf Tournament
The United Way of Lackawanna County has a charity golf tournament named after Mike Munchak. Each year the tournament is held the last week in June at Stone Hedge Country Club located in Tunkhannock.
Following the tournament golfers are invited back to Whistles in downtown Scranton for a post tournament reception and dinner.
