Mika Singh, AKA Amrik Singh, born August 18, 1977, is a bhangra/rap singer. He is the brother of Daler Mehndi. Mika, the youngest of the six Mehndi brothers, left school at the age of eight and began to focus on singing, he says. From a long journey as a kirtan singer to a pop star, he looks life as an everyday struggle to achieve the goal. But is known more for his forced kiss with Rakhi Sawant.
Mika is also know for his large audiences at shows. Sometimes large as 60,000 people.[2] He is one of talented punjabi singer who has marked his talent in hindi playback singing also, recently he has signed a film as an actor with sunil shetty's production house, Film name is LOOT.He has also composed and sung the famous song "ganpat" from the movie shootout at lokhandwala and his recent song tell me something was also a hit. He has taken part in a few reality shows like Jhalak dikhlaja 2 and jhoom india. Mika is set to release his 5th studio album in 2008 which is highly anticipated due to the involvement of Vikas Kohli and the work done at the Fatlabs studio in Canada.[3]
