Michael Penn (author)

Michael Penn is a professor of Religion at Mt. Holyoke College in Massachusetts. He originally studied molecular biology and was a debater at Princeton University, but had a religious awakening in 1990 and has since devoted his life to the scriptures. He is also an extensive writer on religious topics and his books include Kissing Christians: Ritual, Community, and the Late Ancient Church. Penn teaches a number of special courses including What Didn’t Make It IntoThe Bible and Sex and the Early Church. Michael Penn attended Pinewood High School in California, having graduated in 1989.
