Your article indicated by this statement ' Miami Central became one of the last schools to be fully intergrated not doing so until the early 1970s', that Central was not an integrated school until the seventies.

Where did you get this mis-information from? Central was integrated in the late 60's ahead of some of the other schools in the Metro area like Norland and Miami Beach.

How do I know this to be a fact?

My friends, my brother and others graduated in the late 60's from Miami Central. I graduated in 1971.

We were a very diverse, White, Black and Hispanic populated school. I had a diverse of group of friends in high school. This also includes teachers. My Aunt was the school librarian.

Get your facts straight!

The facts come from people like yourself. Why not help improve the article? Could it be that despite being integrated the school was not 'fully integrated'? Could "fully integrated" be a political term that does not represent the ethnic population but a political philosophy? David D. (Talk) 04:54, 2 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks for having us

Hello,

I'm a graduate of "Central", class of '77. I think it's so cool to bump into a personal icon like Central High on Wikipedia! I am sincerely freaked out. Primarily because of the obvious exposure but also because Central is one of those American schools that stays with you forever.

GO ROCKETS. BEAT DA BULLS!
