The Metro Bowl is the pinnacle for High School football teams in the Greater Toronto Area. The game is usually held in early December at the Rogers Centre, in downtown Toronto. The current title holders are the St. Michael's College Kerry Blues. They've won six Metro Bowls which is the most out of any school.
The current format for deciding the Metro Bowl pits the Champions of the Conference of Independent Schools of Ontario Athletic Association (CISAA), York Region Athletic Association (YRAA), Toronto District Secondary School Athletic Association (TDSSAA), and Lake Ontario Secondary School Association (LOSSA) in a semi-final setup. The leagues alternate matchups from year to year.
