Jessica or menthapiperita (a child of the 1990s) is a great fan of His Dark Materials and an avid wiki-reader (and casual wikipedian). She is finds herself interested in the minute details of less mainstream music scenes that include, but are not exclusive to Broken Social Scene, expatriates in Paris such as Gonzales, and the Yé-yé genre but enjoys both Britpop (especially the Manic Street Preachers) and 90s bubblegum pop immensely. She aspires to one day detail Montreal band The Stills' wiki article with the band's ska and metal origins.
One day, she will know more about diaspora and immigration studies. She believes, "We should welcome the dawn of the migration age."
