Melissa Rollison (born April 13, 1983 in Adelaide) is an Australian middle distance runner who specialises mainly in the steeplechase. A promising early career, which included a stunning gold medal in the 3000m steeplechase at the 2001 Goodwill Games, was disrupted mainly due to injury but she has recently made a strong comeback to competition, highlighted by a gutsy performance in the Commonwealth Games where in the Steeplechase she gave world champion Dorcus Inzikuru a run for her money before settling for the silver medal. This run increased her profile on the world stage. A week after the Commonwealth Games, she helped Australia to a team bronze medal in the IAAF World Cross Country Championships in Fukuoka, Japan.
