Mel and Jay is a now-defunct talk show aired on ABS-CBN from 1988 to 1996. The show ended due to the 1995 Tide controversial ad. Then, Jay Sonza joined Mel going to GMA Network and the successor, Partners Mel and Jay aired in almost 8 years (1996-early 2004)This show is aired every 5:30 to 7:00 pm on Sundays.

- Veteran newscaster Korina Sanchez was a former PA (Personal Assistant) of the show which later become a co-host.
- There is also a radio edition which dubbed as "The First Radio Tandem" which become hit to its listeners.
