I'm a Computer Science student at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, California. I'm originally from Santa Cruz, and graduated from Santa Cruz High School in 2002.

I consider myself a WikiGnome, as I'm not particularly active in creating new articles; instead I generally make small corrections in articles I find while browsing, and then keep an eye on those articles.

I would like to become an admin simply for the ability to quickly revert vandalism and to block those that perpitrate it. I do realize that Admins are expected to be more active in Wikipedia; thus I'm not actively seeking adminship. With new tools availible to non-admins, I now realize that I am

I generally avoid the Community side of things; I feel that the main efforts of Wikipedia should be improving articles, not creating policy. I guess that would make me an adherent to WP:IAR, as I feel an abundance of rules invites WP:Wikilawyers to follow their letter, rather than their spirit.
