[edit] Adult Swim connection
He has appeared and worked behind the scenes on many of Williams Street Studios' shows on Adult Swim, most notably Aqua Teen Hunger Force (as a voice talent and a production assistant), Sealab 2021 (as a writer and as the recurring character Hesh), and was a production assistant and writer for The Brak Show (including the episodes "Brakstreet" and "Shadows of Heat"). He was also a contributing writer for Space Ghost: Coast to Coast and made a cameo in the episode "Baffler Meal."
In October of 2004, he announced his resignation from Cartoon Network to the public on his blog to focus on his recording career, but recently announced his return to Williams Street to several audiences on his last tour, stating he'd be on the show Fat Guy Stuck in the Internet and an unannounced project from the creators of Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Even after his resignation, however, he had appeared in some Williams Street projects, such as the Aqua Teen Hunger Force motion picture and video game. He has since toured throughout the continental United States on multiple occasions. mc chris encourages fans to remix his songs. In the two years since he left Cartoon Network, mc chris has performed live over three hundred times.[citation needed]
On 17 June, 2007, mc chris announced on his message boards that he's been working on a project for years for Adult Swim entitled Battle Hi, but says he doesn't quite have things in order just yet in regards to its production.[1]
[edit] Spin Magazine
In January 2006 mc chris was a nominee for Spin Magazine's "Band of the Year" contest. The voting was shut down for maintenance after fans of a competitor, Demander, used hacks or voting bots to stack the odds overwhelmingly in their favor,[citation needed] and when the site came back online Demander was declared the winner.
[edit] Community involvement
mc chris often likes to get together with his fans and go to the movies. mc chris has written out a bulletin on MySpace requesting his fans to go see TMNT with him. Also, mc chris attended the film Grindhouse after his Las Vegas show by request of some of the fans who contacted him days before the concert. On 10 October 2006, he filled a theater in Austin showing Indiana Jones with fans from his concert, and after a concert in Tampa on April 13, 2007, he brought his audience to see Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters on its opening night, and again in Philadelphia on April 20, 2007. He recently screened Ghostbusters to a sold out audience at the Alamo Drafthouse in Austin, Texas.
On April 1st, 2008 mc chris advertised his Nintendo Wii friend code on a MySpace bulletin. The code is 3050 7592 3605. Many have thought this to be an April Fools Day joke, but it's actually not his Wii Friend code, but his Super Smash Bros. Brawl friend code.
