Completed  Combine information in the lead so that the paragraphs are a decent length. Change to better summarize overall career. Add years to the prose in some subsections, as it is unclear when the events are taking place (eg. the "Singles competition" subsection begins abruptly with "On the July edition of SmackDown!..." It would be nice to include a year, particularly for people who just click down to that section from the table of contents. Adding year ranges to section names might help the above point. Combine sentences in the "Personal life" section to form paragraphs. Perhaps trim the "Signature moves" section (that might just be my personal preference, though). There are three one-sentence paragraphs in the "Singles competition" subsection that should be combined with other paragraphs. The verb tense needs to be consistent. There are a lot of "He would go on...", "They would hold the belts...", etc. These should be "He went on...", "They held the belts...", etc. Unless they are complete sentences, photo captions should not end with a period (none of these captions are complete sentences). References are needed for: The end of the "The Hardy Boyz (1998-2001)" section The end of the first paragraph in the "Singles career (2001-2005)" section The second paragraph in the "Singles career (2001-2005)" section The third paragraph in the "Singles career (2001-2005)" section The second half of the fourth paragraph in the "Singles career (2001-2005)" section The fifth paragraph in the "Singles career (2001-2005)" section The end of the first paragraph in the "Release and independents (2005)" section The end of the third paragraph in the "Release and independents (2005)" section The final sentence in the "Singles competition (2007–present)" section (Hardy's return in Muncie, IN) Hardy's appearances on That '70s Show and Fear Factor in the "Personal life" section The "Championships and accomplishments" section Hardy wrestled for the WWF for about five years before he got a push. Something about this time needs to be mentioned. Is his time in the TWF worth adding? My bias against backyard wrestling says no, but it might be necessary in order to keep the article broad in coverage. From the beginning of the "Career" section, do we know what NEWA and NFWA are? If so, the abbreviations should be spelled out and the titles should be added to the "Championships and accomplishments" section.

Matt Hardy is my favorite superstar in the entire WWE, but I would not blame him for jumping over to TNA since the company will not use him. He is the most popular star on Smackdown, yet he never gets a push. It is now March 10, 2008 and he has not returned from his injury yet. He is however healed. Now MVP is in the Money in the Bank match at Wrestlemania, leaving Matt again off of the line-up. Even though a lot of the other less gifted superstars are on it, like Batista, CM Punk, John Cena, and Umaga. I guess we will never see the ending to his feud with MVP. Sounds a lot like WCW doen't it, always ditching storylines in the middle of them and keeping people down? This is a discussion board, isn't it? I am discussing. Are you the owner or babysitter of this page? I am writing on the discussion board, not on the actual wikipedia page. There is a difference. What I wrote is also no different from other people asking questions about whether or not he will team with Jeff upon his return. Why must there aleays be one buzzkill everywhere to ruin everything. I only wanted to voice my opinions where I hoped that someone important would read it. Let us just enjoy the freedom of expression. I just took a look at Matt's official MySpace page. He states that he was actually born in a hospital in Sanford, North Carolina, although he did grow up in Cameron. That does seem reasonable, considering that:

• Cameron is a community of under 200 people, and likely would not have a hospital. Hospital births have been standard in the US for decades before 1974, when Matt was born.
• Sanford, along with the Pinehurst resort area, is the nearest substantial community to Cameron. It would be reasonable for an expectant mother in Cameron to go to a hospital in Sanford to deliver.

I see that it's saying he's a 6 time world tag team champion,but I know for a fact,that it should be 7 time world tag team champion along with being 1 time wwe tag team champion.Thing is,i know because the commentators on the Smackdown brand constantly mention this,but I can't edit this article because it's locked and I'm a new user,(i need to wait 2 more days for this to change :D)But I can't actually find the source,(wwe site perhaps?)and so I'd really like a response at my talk page. • No hes a 6 time WORLD TAG TEAM Champion, a 1 time WCW Tag Team Champion, and a 1 time WWE Tag Team Champion, giving him a total of 8 World Tag Team titles, its no diffrent to Ric Flair being called a 16 time World Champion, when he never held the World Heavyweight Championship.
