Talk:Material
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Materials are sometimes useful for people. Materials can be used to make clothes and other stuff for people. Materials are one of the most important things to people in their day-to-day lives. Without materials a lot of things could not be done.
The paragraph removed is on cursive, I failed to find any precise meaning on it, and the repeated mention of "stuff and things" seems to prove such text didn't have a clear meaning at all, therefore I removed it.

[edit] Some important materials—is it necessary?
This list seems like it would/should be covered in the target articles. Additionaly, the term important is ambiguous. What criteria make a material important? D-Rock 15:51, 15 December 2005 (UTC)
- I've removed the section. D-Rock (Yell at D-Rock) 03:01, 20 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Change from disambiguation to article
I changed the disambiguation page to an article. I think that we should have an article on the most common meaning of material here. I incorporated most of the entries on the old page into the article. I did not make a new disambiguation page because only the band needed disambiguation. Materiality does not have an article yet.
- Materiality is a U.S. generally accepted accounting principles that states that significance of an item should be considered when it is reported.
If you disagree, please feel free to revert or edit the page to how you think it should be. -- Kjkolb 19:22, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
