Matt Done (born 26 June 1988 in Oswestry) is an English football player who currently plays for Conference National side Wrexham. He broke into the first team squad at the start of the 2006-7 season, after making a couple of substitute appearances in the 2005-6 season. He is a left winger who made a big impression with the fans in his first games[citation needed] with his excellent runs. He attended the Marches School and Technology College in Oswestry.
He made his debut just a month after his 17th birthday, coming on as a sub in a home defeat to Doncaster Rovers and made several appearances from the bench as the season progressed. His full debut came on the last day of the season against Darlington.
On his home debut he scored a well striked goal against Grimsby Town, and also hit the net against Sheffield Wednesday during a 4-1 win in the League Cup. He was offered a new contract by Wrexham in May 2008 following the club's relegation to the Football Conference.[1]
