[edit] Tom and Jerry

I wonder if you could create articles for some more T&J cartoons? The ones that I want you to create are as follows (and also mention the swimsuits that T&J are wearing in the first three cartoons mentioned):

  • Salt Water Tabby
  • Muscle Beach Tom
  • Surf-Bored Cat
  • A Mouse in the House

Also, please mention what happens to Nibbles after he eats the turkey in "The Little Orphan"... Gabrielkat 03:28, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

  • Forgot something else... please mention what Jerry does after he's done with that mirror at the end of "Polka-Dot Puss"... Gabrielkat 19:25, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

I don't know...are any of those four cartoons really necessary articles? Usually, I've only created articles for cartoons of historical significance, such as those that won Oscars or were nominated, or generally improving articles created by other people. So if you wanted to create articles for those cartoons, then be my guest and I can help you out and edit them later on. MartinP1983 11:27, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

Yes, those four cartoons deserve articles! Gabrielkat 16:19, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Question

If you spell realise instead of realize, where are you from? TobytheTramEngine

Why? TobytheTramEngine

[edit] BetacommandBot

(sigh) Let me explain. BetacommandBot always tags images you uploaded as invalid when they are not. I guess the only way to prevent this from happening is to edit all the images you uploaded and include a rationable fair use. TobytheTramEngine 20:53, 7 November 2007 (UTC)

I forgot to warn you that it would take much time to edit all the rationables. Doing less will be able not lead you to trouble. No offense. TobytheTramEngine 18:03, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

  • I'm not offended, I just don't understand a word of what you just wrote... MartinP1983 23:05, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
Oh, sorry. TobytheTramEngine 04:20, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] The Grey Hounded Hare

Hi Martin,

Late last night when I created the article, I received one of those error report messages ("Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close"). The article was at best half done. Thanks for contributing so that I wouldn't have to create it again today. Cousin Yugi (talk) 22:35, 4 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] A note about redirects

Hi Martin, I came across this issue during random page patrol, and would like to drop you a note about moving pages with regards to redirects. Since November, 2004, [1] the article Droopy, redirected to Droopy Dog. Last week, you blanked Droopy Dog, and pasted the article into Droopy, [2] [3]. I realize that this may have seemed like a valid way to move an article, but unfortunately, the entire 3 year history associated with the article, no longer reflects in the history when viewed. I have submitted a repair request, so the histories can be merged, but the long history of the article, and the length of time they have been on Wikipedia, makes it a bit of a difficult repair. Moving over a redirect should only be done if the redirect itself has no article history. In the future, would you please ask an administrator to move a page like this, when the two pages both have histories? It would help with keeping the histories intact. Thanks so much!
