Maryland Route 68 is an east/west route located in the U.S. state of Maryland. West of Williamsport, the route is known as Clear Spring Road, and east of Williamsport, the route is known as Lappans Road.
The route runs from US 40 in Clear Spring, Washington County east to US 40 Alt in Boonsboro, Washington County.
In addition to Maryland Route 68, Interstate 68 also runs through Maryland. At the Maryland Route 68 interchange with Interstate 70, there are signs advising drivers to the fact that Maryland Route 68 and Interstate 68 are not the same road.
