Martin Phillips is a Welsh darts player who competes in the British Darts Organisation and is currently the captain of Wales.

He made his World Championship debut in 1991 losing in the first round to then reigning champion Phil Taylor. In 1992 he defeated the Dutchman Bert Vlaardingerbroek 3-0 in the first round and knocked out England's Eric Bristow 3-2 in the second round to reach the quarter final he was defeated again by Phil Taylor, who went on to clinch his second World Title. He also played in 1993 and 1994, reaching the second round in both tournaments, losing both time to Bobby George.

It wasn't until nine years later that Phillips returned to the Lakeside in 2003, losing in the first round to John Walton. He failed to qualify for the World Championship until 2007, again losing in the first round, this time to Scotland's Paul Hanvidge. He went one step further in 2008, beating Shaun Greatbatch in the fisrt round but lost in the second round to then-reigning champion Martin Adams.

Phillips was also at the receiving end of a nine dart finish achieved by John "Boy" Walton in the 2007 Winmau World Masters.
