Mark Evans (TV Host)

Mark Evans is a British Veterinary surgeon who became a TV presenter.
His TV career started in 1990 when he complained about an item on TV-am that made fun of fat pets, and was invited as a guest on the show giving advice to the owner of an obese cat. He has since fronted over 1000 shows[1], including shows based around pets, gardens and vehicles. He is well known for the ten Is Born series for the Discovery Channel, where he restores and builds cars, bikes, helicopters and planes. Including:-
- AC Cobra replica kit car.
- Jaguar E-type
- Westfield 1800SE
- 1942 Harley Davidson WLC45
- 1970 Triumph Bonneville
On 9th October 2007 Mark's new series, Wreck Rescue, started on Discovery Real Time. Wreck Rescue follows the restoration of 5 very different vehicles over 12 months.
