Marinula striata is a species of small air-breathing land snail, a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusc in the family Carychiidae.

This species is endemic to New Zealand's Stewart Island, Auckland Islands, Campbell Island, and Antipodes Islands.

This snail lives under stones at high water mark.
[edit] Shell description
The shell is ovate, thin, with a short spire and a large aperture. The inner lip has only two plaits, the uppermost the largest. The surface is sculptured with finely incised spiral lines, often obsolete on the body whorl.
Coloration is buff (shells from the Auckland and Campbell islands), or dull reddish-brown (shells from Stewart Island).
Height is up to 11 mm, and the width is up to 6 mm.
