Marcie Bolen

Marcie Bolen (born October 28, 1977) is an American guitarist from Detroit, Michigan.
She was formerly the rhythm guitarist/backup vocalist for indie rock band 'The Von Bondies. She was on the NME cool list for two years in a row. Currently, she is pursuing two bands, F'ke Blood and Silverghost. Marcie has played in Detroit and New York Detroit with Patti Smith on "Gloria."
Marcie grew up in Southgate, Michigan and went to school for art and cosmetology. As an artist, she goes by the nickname Twirlyred and worked on such projects as White Stripes cover booklet for their 2001 album, White Blood Cells. As a cosmetologist, she works at a hair salon in Ferndale. She purchased a home in Ferndale, Michigan where she records demos for her new bands.
