Porter "Marc" Marco McKnight (Born July 12, 1983, Fairhope, Alabama) is the current bassist and backing vocalist for the metalcore band Atreyu. He joined the band in 2003 after Chris Thomson left. Though he is credited on the 2004 album The Curse as a member of the band, it is unclear as to whether he played bass on the whole recording. He can be seen on The Curse DVD playing bass but Tom Macdonald from Canadian pop rock band Hedley is also thanked for "lending his bass skills" to the recording. Recently, Marc has been seen with long hair and a beard. For Atreyu's 'Lead Sails Paper Anchor Tour 2007', Marc cut both of these and now sports a smaller beard. He also has a website in which he shares pictures of his time on tour, and filming of music videos and other pictures as well.
