Malik Hairston (born February 23, 1987) is an American college basketball player at the University of Oregon. The senior guard averaged 13 ppg and 6.1 rpg during the 2006-2007 season.

Prior to arriving at the University of Oregon, he starred at Renaissance High School in Detroit, Michigan. His current Oregon teammate, Tajuan Porter, also attended Renaissance High school . Malik led his high school team to a 27-0 record, the Class B state title and a No. 3 national ranking by USA Today. Malik was a top 10 rated recruit by virtually every publication and played in the 2004 McDonald’s All-America game. He was considered the biggest recruit in the University of Oregon's history.

Hairston has been a big-time asset for the Ducks from the moment he stepped on the floor as a freshman. Although he has yet to blossom into the dominant player many expected he would become, Hairston (along with fellow teammates Maarty Leunan and Bryce Taylor) became two of the eleven players in Oregon history to record 1,000 career points as juniors. Injuries slowed his production in 2006-2007 but Hairston has been instrumental to the Ducks' late season run and Elite Eight appearance in the 2007 NCAA Division I tournament.
