"Maldòn (la musique dans la peau)" is a 1989 song recorded by the West Indian group Zouk Machine. The song is the first single from the album of the same name, and was released in May 1990. In France, it achieved a huge success, topping the singles charts for about two months.

The song was written and produced by Guy Houllier and Yves Honoré.

The single had a great success in France. On May 26, 1990, it debuted at the bottom of the French Singles Chart, but it reached very quickly #1, only four weeks after. It stayed 7 weeks at this position, then dropped to number 2. However, six weeks after, the single has managed to be #1 again and for one other week. Thereafter, "Maldòn (la musique dans la peau)" kept on falling and left the chart after 27 weeks of attendance, on December 1^[1].

It was thus the number-one of the year in France.

According to Infodisc website, the song is the 224th best-selling single of all time in France^[2], with 752,000 copies sold.
