Madhapur is the home to the information technology industry in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. The central region of this area is called HITEC City. From a small town in the early nineties, Madhapur has grown into a modern business hub.
Madhapur has the highest concentration of Information Technology companies in Hyderabad. Cyber Towers, Cyber Pearl and Cyber Gateway were the first IT structures to come up . Later on large names like Deloitte, Oracle Corporation, Dell, Google, CA Inc., Infosys, Wipro, TCS, AppLabs, Invensys, Keane, Cognizant, Infotech, Genpact, and many others have made the city as their business centre. 17°26'26"N 78°23'28"E

APSRTC, a state owned bus service, connect Madhapur with other parts of the city.
Madhapur is served by MMTS train service, the station is located at Hafeezpet, a kilometre away. Taxis and autos shuttle between the station and the city. A metro has being planned which would make transportation easier and a lot better.
Inner and outer ring roads are being developed to ease traffic during peak hours, and also to provide connectivity to the new International Airport coming up at Shamshabad.
