This is just plain wrong. The 950 was one of the first Quadras (it was a 900 with a 33mhz, rather than a 25mhz '040 CPU) and it had a full 68040, not an LC.

[edit] MOSNUM and ambiguity

Quotes from WP:MOSNUM:

  • Only in the rarest of instances should ambiguous units be used, often in direct quotations to preserve accuracy to the quoted material.
  • For bits and bytes, specify whether the binary or decimal meaning of the prefixes kilo (k, K), mega (M), giga (G) and tera (T) is intended. See Binary prefixes

If you must use ambiguous units, please find a way of doing so unambiguously. Thunderbird2 (talk) 10:21, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

  • Thunderbird: Please don’t be selective with the MOSNUM rules you intend to abide by. These are quotes from the only relevant portion of MOSNUM; the Quantities of bytes and bits portion of MOSNUM (rather than unrelated sections):

Editors should use the conventional prefixes, such as kilobyte (KB) and megabyte (MB)….

The IEC prefixes are not to be used on Wikipedia except under the following circumstances:
   • when the article is on a topic where the majority of cited sources use the IEC prefixes,
   • when directly quoting a source that uses the IEC prefixes,
   • in articles specifically about or explicitly discussing the IEC prefixes.

Consensus was reached that the spirit of the MoS was better reflected by having familiar but ambiguous units, rather than unambiguous but unfamiliar units.

Like Warren wrote in his edit summary when he reverted your edit here: “listen. YOU read the MOSNUM, it quite clearly states "IEC prefixes are not to be used on Wikipedia". don't edit-war over this.
