Lytton Ferry

The Lytton Ferry, at Lytton, British Columbia, is a cable ferry that is a reaction ferry pulled by the current of the water. It moves its rudders to steer the boat across the river. It can carry 2 cars or one small school bus. In total, 18 people can be taken across on it.
This past year there were controversies with it because VSA highways matenance went on strike leaving 350 people, living at the confluence of the Thompson River and Fraser River to walk across a very unsafe trestle.
