Talk:Lugbara

[edit] Cleanup
The article contained sentences like "Lugbara ... like many people in Uganda, are Christians in name only," a quote taken from a here, and which is highly POV. Another errorneous claim: "The Lugbara lack centralized political authority, and what formal authority exists is exercised by rainmakers and the heads of large family groups. Government-appointed chiefs are set over large areas." I think the last assertion is from the 1911 Encyclopædia Britannica or some other hopelessly outdated source.
That is why I have stripped this article back to stub-status. --Ezeu 13:27, 30 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] idi amin
point of correction: as in the kakwa article http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kakwa_people correctly stated, idi amin was a kakwa, not a lugbara. that is why i delete this false information. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.117.79.142 (talk) 22:44, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
