Love Street, Paisley
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Love Street (stadium)is home of St Mirren Football Club. It is a 10,800 capacity all seater stadium. The newest stand was built in 2000, in order to make SPL criteria. One stand, the northbank, is popular with the hardcore St Mirren support, where most of the songs are started. But it doesn't matter what stand you sit in, all Saints' fans are fantastic!
The northbank runs along the entire length of the pitch, and it's small in height. Across from the northbank is the Main Stand, where the dugouts are, along with the tunnel and the directors' box. The stand has 2 levels, and is small in terms of length. The away stand(west)is undoubtedly the biggest out of the 4 stands, which is extremely steep, not for vertigo sufferers!. And finally the newest(east)stand. Just like the west stand, it sits beind the goal, but the east stand is at the Love Street end, where the home support sit.
St Mirren Will be moving to a new 8000 all seater stadium in the ferguslie park area of the town
