Lottie Collins (1865May 3, 1910) was an English singer and dancer.

She was born Charlotte Louisa Collins in the East End of London in 1865 and started out in music hall at the age of 11 or 12 in 1877 in a skipping rope dance act with her younger sisters, Eliza (Lizzie) and Mary Ann (Marie) as The Three Sisters Collins [4]. In 1886, she became a solo act in music hall, and spent some time around 1891 playing Vaudeville in the United States. However, she is best known as the popularizer of the song "Ta-ra-ra Boom-de-ay!", which she sang on the music hall stage as she danced a skirt dance. She died on 2 / 3 May 1910 at St Pancras, aged only 44, and is buried at Saint Pancras and Islington Cemetery, East Finchley, London.

Her daughter was the musical comedy star José Collins. Lottie married the father, Stephen Patrick Cooney [3]. Her second husband was the composer-producer James W. Tate [5].
