Lota Schwager are a Chilean Football club, their home town is Coronel in Chile. They currently play in 2nd division of Chilean football Liga Chilena de Fútbol: Primera B.

Club of Deportes Lota Schwager was founded 10 of May of 1966, thanks to the fusion of the equipment of the Regional Competition Amateur of Conception, Lota Mines and Federico Schwager, representatives of the companies carboniferous, Schwager and Lota respectively. 9º played that same year in the Second Division, obtaining place.
With the direction of the technical director Isaac Carrasco, Lota Schwager in the year 1969, after three seasons in Second, obtains his first title in the professionalism, which was worth to him to be promoted for the first time to the First Division.
In the First Division [stayed until the year [1980]], year in which the club finished 16º of 18 participant equipment. 14 of February of 2001, after 7 years of its disappearance appears again Lota Schwager under the presidency of Bernardo Ulloa, this time like equipment amateur, participating in the Third Division of Chilean soccer. That same year, under the technical manual of Eduardo Apablaza, obtains the title of that division, which meant that Lota Schwager returned to the professionalism.
From the year 2002 Lota Schwager stayed playing without newness in First Division B of Chilean soccer, but the year 2006, under the conduction of Jaime Nova classified to liguilla of promotion in where [Rangers de Talca faced against [|Rangers]], losing the first party by 2-1 and winning of the premises by the same account, which caused a definition to penitentiaries in where Lota Schwager prevailed 4-3, getting to play in first division after 20 years.
In the year 2007, after arriving at First Division, the mining equipment very had under yield in Match of Opening, letting it like candidate to descend, soon had to raise a little its level in Match of Closing, nevertheless did not serve to him as much, because in the last date] lost before [[Deportes Antofagasta] by the 2-1 account, letting it directly descend to First B of Chilean professional soccer.
