Lok Kalyan Setu is a hindi phrase. Lok means people, Kalyan means benefit and Setu means a bridge, signifies a mean to. Thus Lok Kalyan Setu means, a mean to the benefit of all[1].

Lok Kalyan Setu was first published on 15th July, 1997. From then, till today the newspaper is regularly published. Lok Kalyan Setu is published from Gujrat, India. It is published under the banner of Sri Yoga Vedant Sewa Samiti, an organ of Sant Sri Asaramji Ashram, founded by Sant Sri Asaramji Bapu[2].
