I must say this article is at least a borderline case for deletion. The lobster boy receives a mere 198 google hits, and as far as i could tell only in regional electronic media. However, it seems a decent piece of work, so I'll not officially propose it for deletion. See Wikipedia:Notability (people) for what ought and what ought not be in wikipedia. - absolutley no good whatsoever would come from deleting it. it would only deprive the world of information. Joeyramoney 03:16, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
- No reason to delete. This is one of the most informative articles on performance artists on Wikipedia. Frankly, I was a little inspired! Ninetigerr 09:12, 13 August 2006 (UTC)ninetigerr

I really don't understand the "Recent activities" section. Recent from when? What is it talking about?

The tone of the article seems off, far too personal, and I have to question the quotes used. Why should we repeat the quotes from anonymous students, rather than summarizing the diverging opinions? And who's Alex Mezger and why are we repeating a quote found in the references? (The quotes should probably be properly cited, too.) A google search for Alex Mezger turns up the CMU lobster boy article. That, combined with the rather absurd notion that CMU (hardly a small school) was 'put on the map' because of lobster boy makes me believe the quote should probably be removed entirely, maybe replaced with a one-sentence summary, something like 'The lobster boy incident brought added notoriety to Carnegie-Mellon University.' with a proper citation.Obonicus 03:27, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
