Organization by game first appeared in is a bit arbitrary, but I couldn't think of anything better. If anyone wants to mess around with this page, feel free; just the usual warning about changing incoming redirects if headers are changed.
I expect some of the other articles currently "main articled" should also be merged in here, as well. SnowFire 03:53, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
To 142.58.211.84: Sorry about that, was in the middle of a fairly major change. That said, I think this image placement is still fine... having images somewhere not in their section should probably only be done if there's no other choice. Not sure Lepant is a good merge to here; he should probably be in the Suiko I characters article, since I believe his role in Suiko II is really really minor. That said, not a huge issue... - It's okay (about Lepant). I was trying to help, so I hope I didn't mess too much up. EikaKou (I'm the 142.58.211.84 who was editting List of Suikoden I characters and List of Suikoden II characters Forgot to sign in.).

- As for image placement on Sheena... I see what you're trying to do, use up some unused screen real-estate with Kasumi, but it makes the Firefox rendering engine go a little nuts, with Hix's picture being laid out over top of text. Konqueror shows it fine, but eh.

- Also, I kept Jeane right-aligned (despite Apple also being right aligned) since her text section was fairly long, and once Viki gets merged in, her picture will probably go on the left. SnowFire 03:26, 14 July 2007 (UTC)

- Contained in the same section as normal Viki, certainly. Suppose we could use a four-level header if we wanted, but there isn't a whole lot to say about young Viki in any case - a paragraph, basically. We can have the young Viki image left-aligned and lower down, with normal Viki right-aligned.

- Viktor are Flik remaining merges; I'd do it myself, but Suiko I/II really isn't my thing. Luc will be the tricky case. If anyone left still has a case for their own article, it's him, though I suspect it'd be safer to just merge anyway. Still, it'll need a fair amount of cleanup and work, and he'll probably end up with a fairly long section regardless.

- Also, the old Lucia (Suikoden) article got prod'ed off before. Might be worth asking an admin to take a look and see if there's anything worth merging from the old article; I recall it being much longer (although some of that length was surely non-notable trivia). - I've merged in Viktor and Flik, as well as Luc. I tidied up Luc's section as best I could, but it's still really long in my opinion. If anyone can make it shorter and more concise, please do so. By the way, should something be done with Sierra Mikain as well, since pretty much all the other Suikoden character articles are now part of a compiliation page of some sort? - Go ahead and merge her into the Suiko II list. I originally had her here due to her appearance in Suikogaiden a la Nash, and then I remembered that this would apply to way the heck too many Suiko II characters and removed her (since she's not actually in III). SnowFire 04:04, 15 July 2007 (UTC)

Is the consensus to keep this section in the article as a quick reference? Or are people planning to remove it once the main section is complete?
If keep, I think something should be done about the Star of Destiny header, The "no, yes, no" thing is a little awkward. Mark272 10:06, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
- Shrug. Don't see a particular problem with it myself. Only problem is that since it's main games only, it leaves Nash out (Which is weird but better than counting practically every S2 character for reappearing in GS), and some of the minor cameo parts take up space. If you have a better idea for the SOD column, go for it. SnowFire 04:04, 15 July 2007 (UTC)

- I went ahead and made some changes. Headers should be more clear now, particular Star of Destiny (previously, "SOD" would have meant nothing to those unfamiliar with the series). I also changed "Yes, No, etc." to an actual list of games so it's completely clear. Mark272 16:49, 21 July 2007 (UTC)

- While we're on the subject, I think this list should only include the "main games" of the series. As you say, it would be pretty long if we include those who appeared in Genso Suikogaiden as well as the main games, and it would also mean we would also have to include those who appeared in both Suikoden IV and Suikoden Tactics, which would add to its length.
