First it's said that Kedzie Matthews is a veiled parody of Robin Williams, then this is replaced to see he's a veiled parody of Dane Cook? Until I see some evidence (a cite of commentary from Bob or David, for example), I'm going to keep assuming the most natural thing: Kedzie Matthews is an entirely unveiled parody of mediocre stand-up comedians in general. -Chinju 15:37, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
I'm not sure why someone would edit it to say that he's a parody of Dane Cook, seeing as how Cook was nowhere near famous at the time that the show ran. I think the most logical comedian that it parodies is Williams, if only for his manic style. Certainly one doesn't need a citation for such an estimate, particularly as this is a page dedicated to an off-beat sitcom; not to either Cook or Williams themselves. - Livesayd 13 July 2006

How many single-appearance characters should be listed, and what have been the criteria for including them up until now? The list seems to be a hodge-podge of scattered memories of parts of the show. How are we defining who gets onto the list, beacuse there are many more characters (played by both main and featured cast) that are given a name in the show, and appear only once. The writing on his chest is "Pit Pat," with no hyphen. Is the hyphenated version ever used on the show?
