Okay, I know that Kobra isn't a word, and looking through google I do see a ton of sites (past pge 21, not that it makes any diffrence) that point out the connection between Kobra just to be a mispelling of Cobra, the snake. I know i'm new to the project, but it seems that 'Kobra' is in fact the origin of the English name...I don't know, but even if we can't verify that it really is the english name it seems worth mentioning to me. It can be mentioned if you can find an official statement from Nintendo that states it, otherwise it's just trivial speculation. See WP:VERIFY. I don't make the rules. SpigotMap 16:16, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

I moved the individual pokemon pages which redirects to this page to the Encyclopedia Gamia, a gaming wiki. Since they are filled with information that is mostly game related I thought it would be still relevant to be saved and updated. --Cs california 06:34, 9 September 2007 (UTC)

Please do not add Jigglypuff as a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Brawl yet. A leak is not 100% confirmation, and until it is officially revealed by Nintendo, the Dojo, or by the release of the game itself, please refrain from adding it. ... it was confirmed by Nintendo, albeit indirectly. You're right in saying that a leak is not absolute confirmation... but this isn't a "leak." The trailer was authorized to be posted on the official Wii website and it happened to reveal that Jigglypuff, Lucario, and Ness are playable. 68.237.80.168 (talk) 02:43, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

well that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. If you saw a werewolf walk past you but the person didnt say he was a werewolf, would you then not believe that he was one. Weird analogy i know, but it fits. If you SAW the video that was 100% aloud on the net with Nintendo and I'm sure Sakurai's permission, but they didn't come out and say "By the way, those characters at the bottom at 4:20, yea there in" why would you not believe them. 24.186.101.182 (talk) 20:09, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

Why on earth was this changed?

It doesnt seem to contribute anything, and I do not seem to find any reason to get rid of the Pokemon Pages as they were.

Before, it was easy to use Wikipedia to find Sugimori Art of the Individual Pokemon needed, and to look up facts on the myths and legends behind these creatures.

Now these pages are useless, and serve no purpose, so why not bring back the old individual pages and revert it back to the way it was. —Preceding unsigned comment added by SHTR (talk • contribs) 12:02, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

The Pokemon's name is Clefairy though. The article is referring to the species as a whole. There is no reason to pluralize anything. Now it needs re-written. -Sukecchi (talk) 15:49, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

There is need to pluralize things. There is more than one Clefairy in the Pokemon universe. How should it read? "Clefairy is a small, bipedal Pokemon"? No, it should not, since there are more than one Clefairy. Read up the page a little bit. Nidoking, Nidoran, etc., they all talk about them in plural. Voretus (talk) 15:59, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

Oh, you mean because the other ones use the singular as the plural? That's because the Pokemon WikiProject decided that the plural of Pokemon species should be the same as the singular name. It's just different with this one Pokemon, Clefairy, as it's the only one that's been sourced to be pluralized as Clefairys. Voretus (talk) 16:10, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

From Pokémon Sapphire's Pokédex: On every night of a full moon, groups of this POKéMON come out to play. When dawn arrives, the tired CLEFAIRY return to their quiet mountain retreats and go to sleep nestled up against each other. Thus, your spelling is incorrect, as it's been retconned since in R/S/E.
