[edit] Arizona Railroad: Does it exist?

I moved "Arizona Railroad" here as I can't find any proof that it is a current common carrier in Arizona. Anyone heard of this one? Rhallanger 05:24, 14 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Proposed/Conceptual Rail Systems

There's a web page at [1] which lays out a number of proposals for new rail services. Would a link like that belong here? For example, they propose commuter rail between Tucson and Phoenix by way of Coolidge and Queen Creek [2] [3] and a high-speed rail line [4]. There's also a Southwest Rail Corridor web site advocating what looks like a commuter rail line going from Los Angeles through Yuma, Phoenix, and Tucson. Rhallanger or anyone else, I'll leave it up to you if you think it's a good idea to add these. --Traal 20:08, 15 March 2006 (UTC)

  • The list here (Arizona) isn't too big (see California list for a really long one). A section titled "Proposed railroads" seems fine to me. I would put it at the bottom, after defunct or private railroads. Now are you talking about a proposed "service" or a proposed "railroad"/"line"? Slambo might have some ideas on it. I'd say add it and if it's a problem we could just create a new list of "Proposed Arizona railroad and service" and then link to it from this list. Rhallanger 09:33, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
