The Greater Houston area is home to numerous regional shopping malls and shopping centers located in various areas of the city. The following is a list of shopping malls located in the city:

- First Colony Mall - a regional shopping mall in Sugar Land, Texas, an affluent suburb of Houston.[1] Expanded in 2006, the regional mall includes a new outdoor plaza. [2]
- Hong Kong City Mall - an Asian strip mall based in Alief, Houston, Texas at the southwest intersection of Bellaire Boulevard and Boone Road.
- The Galleria - an upscale mixed-use urban development centrally located in the Uptown District of Houston, Texas, one of the largest business districts in the country, just outside the city's I-610 inner beltway. It is located at one of the busiest surface street intersections in the country, Post Oak Boulevard at Westheimer Road and is the seventh largest shopping mall in the United States.[3]
- Katy Mills - an outlet shopping mall in Katy, Texas—west of Houston—developed by The Mills Corporation and is now owned by Simon Property Group.[4] Katy Mills is a one-level facility that sprawls over 1.3 square miles (3.4 km²).
- Memorial City Mall - a shopping mall opened in 1962, located in Memorial, Houston, Texas on the southeast corner of Interstate 10 and Gessner Road.[5]
- Northwest Mall
- Sharpstown Mall - a shopping mall located in the Sharpstown development of Houston, Texas on the northwest corner of U.S. Highway 59 and Bellaire Boulevard.[6] Sharpstown Center was the first air-conditioned, enclosed shopping mall in the Houston area.[7]
- West Oaks Mall - a mall in the Alief neighborhood of Houston that opened in 1984 at the southwest corner of Westheimer Road and Highway 6.[8]

- Pasadena Town Square
- San Jacinto Mall - a large regional shopping mall located in Baytown, Texas along Interstate 10.[9]

- Deerbrook Mall
- Greenspoint Mall - a shopping mall located in Greenspoint, Houston, Texas, at the northeast corner of Interstate 45 and Beltway 8.[10] The mall is among the largest five Houston-area retail developments based on net rentable area.[11]
- Northline Mall
- Willowbrook Mall - a 1.53-million-square-foot regional shopping mall located in northwest Houston at the intersection of State Highway 249 and FM 1960 in the Willowbrook neighborhood of Houston, Texas.[12] The mall is among the largest five Houston-area retail developments based on net rentable area, ranking third in 2000,[13] and is considered a major retailing center of northwest Houston.[14]
- The Woodlands Mall - a two-story, enclosed shopping mall, located in The Woodlands, Texas, United States, an affluent northern suburb of Houston.[15] The Woodlands Mall is considered a super-regonial mall by industry definitions.[16]

- Almeda Mall
- Baybrook Mall - is a shopping mall located eighteen miles (29 km) from downtown Houston at Interstate 45 South and Bay Area Blvd in Friendswood, Texas, United States.[17] The mall opened in 1978 and has consistently upgraded its tenant base as many of the neighborhoods surrounding Baybrook house populations largely of employees from the NASA Johnson Space Center and related industries.
- Brazos Mall
- Galvez Mall - a shopping mall that was located in Galveston, TX, about 50 miles south of Houston. The mall opened in 1966, but was closed in 1996 after several years of ownership, buyout, and transformation deliberation. It was finally torn down in 2001 and a new shopping strip was opened on the site in 2003.
- Gulfgate Center - built in 1956, Gulfgate is the oldest mall in Houston and contains 700,000 square feet (70,000 m²) of retail space.[18]
- Mall of the Mainland
- Meyerland Plaza - a large shopping center located in southwest Houston, Texas, United States.[19] Meyerland Plaza was originally built in 1957 as Houston's second "regional mall".
