This article lists political parties in Afghanistan.
Afghanistan has a multi-party system in development, with numerous parties in which no one party often has a chance of gaining power alone, and parties must work with each other to form coalition governments. No political party is permitted to exist that advocates anything that is deemed to go against Islamic morality.
