Lisnagarvey is a small village in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, near Lisburn. It is also the original name of Lisburn, before it was renamed following a fire.
Close to Lisnagarvey there is a high power medium wave BBC radio transmitter with a radio mast of unique design, known as the Lisnagarvey transmitting station. It has the only diamond shaped radio mast, known as Blaw-Knox Radiator, in Western Europe.
When David Trimble was created a peer, he took the name Lord Trimble of Lisnagarvey.
