Lisa Wysocky

Lisa Wysocky is an author, motivational speaker and equine clinician who was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She spent her early years showing horses on the WSCA horse show circuit and later received a degree in Light Horse Management from the University of Minnesota. She trained Appaloosa horses in Western Washington State and had success on the Appaloosa national show circuit.

Wysocky moved to Nashville, Tennessee where she began a career in the music industry, rising to publicist, artist manager and record label executive. A few of the celebrities she worked with include David Allen Coe, Johnny Paycheck, Tompall Glaser, and Paul Overstreet.

Wysocky's first book was named The Power of Horses: True Stories from Country Music Stars. She then co-write the award winning book, Front of the Class: How Tourette Syndrome Made Me the Teacher I Never Had with Brad Cohen. This book won both the Independent Publisher Book Award[1] and the ForeWord book award and was featured on Inside Edition, The Oprah Winfrey Show, and seen in People magazine. Success Within: How to Create the Greatest Moments of Your Life catapulted Wysocky into the speaker circuit where she speaks to businesses and corporations across the United States.

Wysocky uses adaptations of Success Within to speak to non-profit groups that support therapeutic horseback riding for people with disabilities. She trains horses now at a therapeutic facility in Franklin, Tennessee. She also travels nationwide giving horse clinics.
