Lifetime Real Women is a digital cable channel that is the sister network to Lifetime. It was launched in August 2001 and is available in over 10 million homes via digital cable and satellite (Dish Network, and previously DirecTV). The network has a mixture of comedies, dramas, how-to, game shows, movies and real life stories that had once aired on Lifetime Television
It features well-known shows such as Once and Again, Providence, Strong Medicine, and Laverne & Shirley.
Original programs include: Operation: Style, Any Day Now, Things We Do For Love, Final Justice, Next Door With Katie Brown, Head 2 Toe, How Clean Is Your House?, Intimate Portrait, Merge, What Should You Do?, Who Knows You Best and Gay, Straight or Taken.
Programming also includes documentaries such as Intimate Portrait and movies which depict true stories.
DirecTV no longer offers this service to their subscribers as of July 25, 2007.
