Life with Elizabeth

Life with Elizabeth is a sitcom which aired from 1952 to 1955. The show starred Betty White and Del Moore; Jack Narz was the on-camera announcer and narrator. The low-budget show was produced by a local Los Angeles TV station at which White and Moore had been staffers and ran in first-run syndication.
Life with Elizabeth may be compared with other 1950s sitcoms like I Love Lucy and My Little Margie. The show was forgotten for some time until VHS and later DVD releases were released of the show, which has now entered the public domain. Since then, it has gained a small cult following, and is currently shown on America One.
The most unusual aspect of the show was that it was divided into three comic shorts — referred to as "incidents" — of 8 to 10 minutes each, and sometimes entire incidents could be spent just having the main characters talking. Another unusual aspect of the show was the minimal theme music, played by a solo harpist who was partially visible on the opening title screen.
