"Lies" is a JPop song by singer Kumi Koda. The lyrics are written by Koda herself and the music is written and arranged by Yanagiman. The song is the ending theme of Asahi TV's show "ADORE na! GAREJJI" (アドレな!ガレッジ?) and is also used in a commercial for music.jp. The song appears on Koda's 6th album Best ~second session~, and it is the 8th single of Koda Kumi's so-called ~12 Single~ Collection. As with the other 11 singles in this collection, the cover of the single represents a stylized version of a traditional dress from a culture; this time it draws its inspiration from China. Like most of the singles in the ~12 Single~ Collection, "Lies" is also limited to 50,000 copies only. The single made its debut in the Oricon Daily Single Chart Top 50 (オリコンデイリーシンゲルチャートTOP 50 oricon deirii shinguru chaato top goshū?) on 4 January 2006 at #9, and peaked at #7 in the Oricon Weekly Single Chart Top 200 (オリコン週間シングル200 orikon shūkan shinguru top nihyaku?) the following week.
