Liberal Party (Italy)

The Liberal Party (Partito Liberale, PL) was a minor liberal Italian political party.
It was founded in 1994 by former members of the Italian Liberal Party who wanted to join the centre-right coalition led by Silvio Berlusconi and it was transformed in Italian Liberal Party in 2004.
Most of its leading members were also members of Forza Italia, among them Stefano De Luca, Carlo Scognamiglio Pasini, Egidio Sterpa, Ernesto Caccavale and Luigi Caligaris.
