The article Salamander Square has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This happened because the article seems to be about a subject but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable. Unfortunately, that won't work--that will only prove that the band exists, and that's not what is in dispute. What is at stake is the fact that the band is not notable; that is, they are not significant enough to warrant an entry in an encyclopedia. Well, has the band had any press coverage? Gone on a national tour? Click WP:MUSIC and see if they satisfy any of those requirements. Yes, you did sign it correctly. :) Unfortunately, YouTube is not a reliable source. I'm afraid that, right now, the band doesn't have the significance needed to be in an encyclopedia. Perhaps someday they will, and then you can create the article. Right now, you might want to check out MySpace or some similar service to create a listing for them. We don't typically protect pages unless they receive a lot of vandalism in a short period of time. I've reverted the vandalism and the page should be accurate.
