Talk:Leslie E. Robertson

Isn't he doing structural work for the replacement WTC? If so, that's confidence in his work and should be mentioned (at least about him doing both the old and new).Chergles 01:56, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Misinformation
The article says he was Chief engineer but he was actually only the lead for his section and subordinate to the other lead engineers. He was in charge of sway minimisation and the WTC was his first highrise.
It mentions the aircraft but it had nothing to do with the official aircraft study that was actually done for the towers. After the 2001 attacks Robertson, who had no knowledge that Skilling Helle and Jackson had already done a study, recalled he "addressed the question of an airplane collision, if only to satisfy my engineer's curiosity" but now cannot find a copy. Several engineers who worked with him on the WTC at the time, including the director of his department, say they have no knowledge of it. Wayne (talk) 04:41, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
